Games Tribe launches first websites

Richard Keith has lifted the lid on the first two blogs to emerge from his Games Tribe venture – jrpgtribe.com and raidingparty.net.

Keith announced the formation of The Games Tribe in September.

jrpgtribe.com will be run by former Future Publishing face Kim Richards, who formerly served as a games tester for Square Enix before moving on to Official PlayStation 2 Magazine and later Future’s PSN subscription service FirstPlay.

Games journalist and self-confessed RPG nut Jamie Knight will be the man behind raidingparty.net.

Both writers will work alongside editor in-chief Nick Ellis.

This is just the first step for us,” Keith stated. These two sites will be joined over the next few weeks by more launches, each one dedicated to a particular gaming niche.

As well as offering great original content these sites will act as gateways for both gamers and our commercial partners to reach and target the hundreds of passionate, dedicated fan sites that are out there.”

Nick ellis added: Securing the services of these two writers is a real coup for The Games Tribe. Kim has long been the go-to writer for coverage of Japanese RPGs, while Jamie’s enthusiasm for action RPGs is second to none. I look forward to working with them both.”
