Green Day: Rock Band will be released by the end of the year.
That’s according to the US ‘nu-punk’ band’s lead singer and songsmith Billy Joe Armstrong, who revealed the news in a radio interview yesterday.
A fan called in to ask Armstrong about the possibility of a standalone Green Day game on US rock radio KROQ.
According to Kotaku, he replied:
Yeah. We’re doing a whole Green Day Rock Band, uh…”
When asked when the game would be released, he added:
I’m not sure…soon. Like I think not this week, but this year soon…by the end of this year.”
