Green Day: Rock Band confirmed

A Green Day Rock Band game is coming, it was confirmed during the Spike TV VGAs.

The game was rumoured earlier in the year, when lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong mentioned it on US rock radio station KROQ. A trailer was shown during the VGAs, which featured Armstrong, drummer Tre Cool and guitarist Mike Dirnt.

Green Day have been going since 1987, producing hit records including Dookie, Nimrod, Warning and 2004s American Idiot. They have sold 22 million records in the US alone, and their most recent album, 21st Century Breakdown, was released in May this year.

Green Day released their most recent album, 21st Century Break Down, in May this year. And they will tour the UK next Summer at Wembley Stadium and Old Trafford.
