Halo: Reach arrives at last

One of the biggest releases of the year has finally made its worldwide debut, and store workers across the country put in a late shift last night to usher in the arrival of Halo Reach in style.

At GAME’s leading launch event at the Westfields London Shopping Centre, two Noble Team Spartans (pictured) were present and correct as shoppers were treated to giveaways, raffles – and plenty of queuing.

Last night, we had hundreds of Halo fans join us at over 400 GAME and Gamestation stores across the UK, so they could be the first to play Halo: Reach, one of the most hotly anticipated new releases of the year,” head of UK PR for GAME and Gamestation Neil Ashurst stated.

The showpiece launch of Halo Reach at GAME Westfield was an incredible spectacle, with gamers turning up at 5.45am yesterday morning to be first in line. The buzz just before midnight was electric! This was replicated across all our store openings, with many fans dressed in character to add to the occasion.”
