Harrods opens Harry Potter shop

Warner Bros has teamed up with Harrods to create a special Harry Potter store, coinciding nicely with the launch of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.

The temporary concession opened earlier this week and will remain until the end of January 2012.It will sell a wide variety of Harry Potter products, including LEGO and Tomy toys, as well as DVDs and LEGO Harry Potter games.

This will include Years 5-7, which arrives on November 18th, and the DVD and Blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 on December 2nd.

The shop will even feature a display of props and costumes from the firms.

The venture is one of several cross-promotions Warner Bros Interactive is running with the rest of the WB empire in the hopes that Years 5-7 will top the success of the original LEGO Harry Potter.
