Japanese charts body
reports that Sony’s PSP handheld has successfully claimed the top spot of the region’s hardware charts for the third consecutive week.
Despite a drop in sales of over 175,000 units, PSP still beats its closest contender, Nintendo’s DS, by 30,000 units. PSP’s newly found success has coincided with the release of the Slim & Lite version of the machine, which has now sold over 580,000 units.
