‘Killer Instinct Classic 2’ ratings board listing outs Xbox One release

A port of 1996 arcade game Killer Instinct 2 is heading to Xbox One, if a new ratings listing is anything to go by.

Joystiq points to a Korean Ratings Board filing that lists Killer Instinct Classic 2 Xbox One,” implying a version of the classic fighting title is planned for Microsoft’s new hardware.

Killer Instinct’s original port – Killer Instinct Classic – was offered to Xbox One users who purchased one of the special edition offerings of the game’s 2013 reboot.

Killer Instinct 2 character Maya has already been announced as one of the new characters coming to the reboot’s upcoming Season 2 – though no word yet on if the port of the sequel will be packaged somehow with the confirmed release.
