Kotaku UK is live

Future’s UK Kotaku site is now up and running in the UK.

The site, the existence of which was revealed by MCV last month, is edited by Keza MacDonald. Also now named on the staff is news editor Leon Hurley, who joins from Official PlayStation Magazine.

The launch of Kotaku UK allows us to offer our commercial partners greater reach than ever and a significant new vehicle to reach highly engaged gamers,” Future’s head of digital film, games and technology Keith Walker said.

I’m thrilled Square Enix are official launch partners, and it’s great to have Leon on board as news editor – his knowledge and passion for gaming makes him the perfect candidate for the role. Kotaku UK allows us to speak directly to a completely new set of gamers while giving current fans everything they love about Kotaku but with some added UK flavour.”
