Layoffs at Sony’s Zipper Interactive

A number of staff have lost their jobs at Sony Computer Entertainment studio Zipper Interactive.

It has not been confirmed how many have departed the studio, which made MAG and the SOCOM games, reports Kotaku.

Approached for a comment by the website, a Sony spokesperson said the layoffs were a result of "normal business practice and a result of cutting back on production resources after the launch of two major franchises."
