Gaming content deal for UK’s XFM radio station

UK radio station XFM has signed a deal to bring regular video games content to both its broadcasts and its website.

Gamer Network will provide content to the station with Mike Channell featuring fortnightly on Jo Good’s XFM show to discuss gaming news. He will also produce video content for XFM online.

"XFM listeners are keen gamers so we have long thought that it would be appropriate to have some dedicated game content which signposts up and coming releases,” XFM’s director of client and category development Alison Page stated.

We struck lucky because Jo Good, XFM’s afternoon presenter, is a game fan herself and came up with the idea of a regular review feature. Then we teamed up with the lovely guys at Gamer Network to provide the industry know-how and voila, XFM’s Favourite Games was born."
