GMG’s Tracey McGarrigan becomes GamesAid trustee

Games industry charity GamesAid has welcomed Green Man Gaming’s Tracey McGarrigan as its latest trustee.

McGarrigan joined the games industry in 2010 as Sci-Fi-London.com’s games editor before subsequently joining GMG as head of global PR and communications.

"I’m so proud to now be a trustee,” McGarrigan said. My legs are already worried about what this extra responsibility might lead to… but the impact that GamesAid has, not only on the incredible charities we support, but through positively promoting our industry makes every mile worth it, and I can’t wait to help get planning a big year of fundraising!"

The organisation itself added: Tracey first joined GamesAid in 2012 as a member of Games On Song. She has since lost her poker chips to Ian Livingstone, followed Rich Keith’s calf muscles on a bike across Europe, out-sweated her boss Paul Sulyok during the Windsor Half Marathon, and continues to warble in the choir, all to help raise money for GamesAid.

We are extremely excited to have her on board as her energy and passion will only bring success to the GamesAid mission.”
