Konami promotes executive VP Uesugi to president

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the promotion of executive vice president Tomohiro Uesugi to company president, as the publisher has affirmed a new focus to grow brand awarenes and sales in the Americas.

The company will look to Uesugi’s "reputation and history as a transformational leader” and strong track record of driving revenue and promoting organizational development" to boost the Konami brand and product sales in North, Central, and South America.
