Sports Interactive head Miles Jacobson was named Person of the Year at last night’s MCV Awards.
And to herald his appearance on stage, a special video was created featuring industry legends such as Andy Payne, Paul Collyer and Ian Livingstone, as well as charity War Child.
The video charts the rise of Miles from a fan of Championship Manager to one of the most influential people working games.
And on the night, an emotional Jacobson thanked his Sports Interactive team, and called on games developers to support his new Game Jam project he is launching in collaboration with War Child. More on that in a future edition of MCV.
