Videogamer revamps editorial team

Pro-G Media has hired three writers for Videogamer.com, ahead of a ‘monumental overhaul’ of the website.

The three new staff writers include former freelancers Emily Gera and Martin Gaston. Gera has produced content for GamesRadar, Xbox World 360, PC Format, IncGamers and Bit-Tech, while Gaston has written for CBS, Future Publishing and The Telegraph.

The final staff writer is Jamin Smith, who has been working for the firm as a part-time editorial contributor.
Neon Kelly has been promoted from previews editor to deputy editor.

With the arrival of the new recruits, our editorial team is tighter and sharper than ever before,” said Kelly.

Over the coming months we’re going be working hard to develop our content. We’re fast approaching the busiest time of the year for the industry, but we have the skills to pay the bills.”

Operations director Adam McCann added: Our team has never been stronger, and our website is soon getting a monumental overhaul, both aesthetically and in terms of the technology powering it.

I have genuinely never been more excited about our future."
