New studios added to library include Angry Mob Games, Big Blue Bubble and HandyGames

Developers jump to WildTangent Android app

WildTangent has signed partnerships with several developers to bring new games to its Android service.

The new studios include Angry Mob Games, Big Blue Bubble and HandyGames, bringing titles such as Guerilla Bob, Predators and Aporkalypse to its library.

Tangent claimed it will offer full, premium versions of these games and will continue to add games daily.

“Our Android service is growing, and growing fast,” said WildTangent senior VP Sean Vanderdasson.

“We offer both game developers and consumers the best choices in mobile gaming today and the adoption of our service reflects that.”

WildTangent is an app that allows users to “access downloadable, online and social games through one convenient games app”.

Vanderdasson said that the service’s rental option and unobtrusive ad-sponsored game play is putting an end to the era of ‘buy before you try’ on mobile.

He added that it also gets rid of in-game ads “that have been destroying games and gaming experiences for millions of mobile game players.”

Rentals on the service range from 15p, which can be bought through the app’s digital currency WildCoins, and in-game items can be received for free through WildTangent’s ‘BrandBoost’ advertising platform.
