Playjam unveils final GameStick design

Upcoming Kickstarter-backed Android console GameStick has at last been pictured in its final guise.

Creator PlayJam has published pictures of the final hardware, which can be seen below.

Chief amongst the improvements is a tweak to the form factor to add extended hand grips and the addition of a 32BG MicroSD card slot – a move taken, the company says, in response to overwhelming demand”.

The housing for the HDMI stick has also been moved to the back of the device.

A docking station has also been confirmed that will offer wire-free charging and USB support for peripherals such as keyboards and mice.

"It’s hard to believe that we launched GameStick just a few short weeks ago,” PlayJam CMO Anthony Johnson stated. The Kickstarter campaign has been a roller coaster of a ride and one which has given us more feedback than we could ever have possibly imagined. We have been able to take that input and literally better shape our product to give our backers a truly bespoke creation – one which has been designed by the Kickstarter community that backed it."
