MotorStorm 3 for E3

If leaked pictures claiming to be from MotorStorm 3 are real, then another of Sony’s E3 surprises has been sprung before the platform holder’s E3 press conference next Tuesday (June 15th).

Joystiq spotted the snaps on PS3Gen. They appear to point for a more urban setting for the third racer in the series – more specifically, it looks like it will be set in a derelict, abandoned version of San Francisco.

It’s hard to imagine what else Sony could possibly have up its sleeve for next week’s event. We already know about Killzone 3 and Infamous 2, plus all signs point to a 3D and motion-themed revamp for the still unreleased Gran Turismo 5.

Speaking of which, expect plenty about Sony’s Move controller, and possibly a couple of new 3D titles too.

On top of that we’re expecting an announcement regarding a Premium arm to Sony’s PSN service and perhaps confirmation of HD remakes for both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

At one stage a surprise reveal for the PSP 2 was also anticipated, but it now looks as if that’s been put on the back burner for a bit – possibly until Gamescom or, more likely, The Tokyo Game Show.
