Nintendo launches official eBay store

Gamers looking for a cheaper Wii U or 3DS now have an official route to score a cheaper console.

Nintendo has opened its own eBay storefront, featuring a range of software and hardware deals.

Among the current offering is 2DS consoles, new NFC readers for Amiibo figurines, controllers, games and more.

Several of the products are refurbished, offering up to around 60 per cent off, and include a 30-day return period.

The launch follows the US launch of refurbished sales via Nintendo’s online store a few years ago.

However, as of this time, the UK arm of the Nintendo Store does not provide direct sales of refurbished hardware.
