Nintendo Switch UI revealed, along with previously unannounced indie titles

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth publisher Nicalis has tweeted a picture giving us a sneak peek of the Switch’s user interface as well as some previously unannounced indie games coming to the platform.

The studio has now deleted the tweet but it was online long enough for NeoGaf users to share the photo (see below), which shows 1001 Spikes, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Cave Story as part of the Switch library. Nicalis did confirm yesterday that The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will be a Switch launch title, but the other titles hadn’t been officially announced for the Switch until now.

The photo came with a caption saying: Isaac was lonely so we brought a few friends to keep him company. #NintendoSwitch”. It also gives a look at a black version of the Switch’s UI, whereas the interface being shown until now was white.

The interface shows what appears to be recently played games, and classic options such as messages, store, what seems to be a screenshots folder, and settings. There’s also an option to change user and an icon showing a Joy-Con controller, presumably for when players either want to detach the Joy-Con controllers from the side of the console, or possibly for syncing another Joy-Con to the machine.

1001 Spikes, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Cave Story join the small list of games that will be available on the Nintendo Switch.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirthjust released on iOS and Nicalis hinted at the title releasing on one more console” in a blog post as far back as November, without mentioning the Switch though.
