Nintendo’s biggest UK launch ever will push 3D into the mainstream when its new handheld arrives on March 25th.

Nintendo expects that 3DS will be the first encounter with 3D content for many consumers, and is preparing a marketing campaign to match.
Key elements of the marketing include TV and an experiential tour.
Tease and reveal TV is expected to run from early March and beyond launch, whilst a tour inviting consumers to try the hardware will start within the next three weeks.
With key partnerships for non-games 3D content in place with Aardman, Eurosport and Sky, the format-holder is expecting to reach a wide audience from day one.
