Nordic Games buys Digital Reality IP including Sine Mora

Publisher Nordic Games has purchased a number of game franchises for its portfolio from Hungarian firm Digital Reality.

Nordic now has a number of IP from the company under its belt, including Imperium Galactica.

In addition, the firm is buying Bang Bang Racing, Black Knight Sword, Skydrift, Sine Mora, Liberty Wings, Ubrain and Scarabeus: Pearls of Nile.

This follows the company purchasing a number of franchises from now defunct games publisher THQ. When MCV spoke to Nordic boss Lars Wingefors at Gamescom 2014, he said that Nordic could publish these big IPs on a lower budget that THQ.

In the aftermath of that company’s demise, Nordic bought the likes of Red Faction, Darksiders, MX vs ATV, Juiced, Destroy All Humans and De Blo.

Then in December 2014, Nordic continue its IP shopping spree with franchises from dtp Entertainment, which saw the likes of The Moment of Silence, The Mystery of the Druids and Curse of the Ghost Ship becoming part of the Nordic stable.
