Now Metro stirs up MW3 trouble

We all know how much The Daily Mail loves video games and the people that play them. But if there’s one paper whose admiration and respect for gamers can match our favourite tabloid, it’s Metro.

Following on from The Daily Mail’s "fury" yesterday about the London levels in Modern Warfare 3, today’s Metro has also highlighted the supposed campaign against the title.

And much like yesterday’s story, the piece fails to quote or credit anyone for this national state of uproar aside from campaign group Mediawatch.

it does claim that Labour’s games-loving MP Keith Vaz said "the scenes would distress many people", though there’s no indication of when this quote was obtained.

Interestingly, a few pages before the story Tesco is carrying an ad for Modern Warfare 3 pre-orders.
