Star Wars: The Old Republic will be BioWare’s biggest title to date, eclipsing recent RPGs Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
The upcoming MMO for PC will have voice acting for every line of script, equating to around 40 novels-worth or 4,000 hours worth of recording time.
Shauna Perry, BioWare’s director of audio and localisation said: The Old Republic is the size of at least ten KOTORs recorded back to back.”
Creative director James Ohlen, who was interviewed by PC Gamer, said: "It’s the biggest game I’ve ever worked on. I’m surprised at the enormity of it every other week.
We’re creating more content than Mass Effect one and two, Dragon Age and Knights of the Old Republic put together, and throw in Baldur’s Gate, too."
Star Wars: The Old Republic is scheduled for a spring release next year.
