PC gaming finally gets its own E3 press conference

PlayStation and Microsoft (and possibly Nintendo?) will this year be joined on the E3 stage by a conference dedicated solely to PC gaming.

AMD has teamed up with PC Gamer to host the PC Gaming Show on June 16th, bringing with it speakers including Dean Hall and Cliff Bleszinski as well as representatives from companies including Blizzard, Cloud Imperium, Devolver, Paradox and Square Enix.

The event will be hosted by Hearthstone and eSports star Sean ‘Day9’ Plott.

PC gaming is in a golden age, with more powerful and affordable hardware than ever before, thousands of games available through Steam, Origin and other platforms, and millions of viewers regularly watching eSports online,” the description reads.

Now, for the first time, the PC platform will have its own event during E3, where the community will be able to celebrate this era with some of the biggest names in PC gaming and see the innovations that lie ahead.”

E3 2015 will take place between June 16th-18th at the LA Convention Centre.
