Call of Duty: Ghosts PC specs list GTX 780, 50GB HDD space

Another triple-A title has revealed some pretty hefty requirements for PC gamers.

Although not in the same league as the frankly astronomical CPU needs named in the Watch Dogs spec sheet, Activision’s Call of Duty: Ghosts specs certainly contain a couple of notable highlights.

The Minimum specs require a comparatively modest CPU – either an Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4Ghz. The GPU requirements are reasonable too, starting with either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 5870.

However, like Watch Dogs the game will require a 64-bit OS and a minimum of 6GB system RAM.

The stat that will attract the most attention is the huge 50GB HDD requirement, which according to Eurogamer is down to the game’s support of 4K displays and the massive texture files that come as a result.

These textures may also be the reason behind the Recommended Graphics card requirement – a top-end Nvidia GTX 780.
