Smartphone hit Crossy Road is now available to download via the Google Play Store.
Hipster Whale’s title arrived on iOS in later November and then hit Android via the Amazon Appstore just before Christmas, but this is the first time is has been available to download from Google.
The Google Play version is published by Yodo1.
The game was one of Q4’s sleeper smartphone hits. It’s a modern take on Frogger, with its main differentiation being its striking visuals and vast array of collectible characters. These can be obtained either via coins picked up en-route or via IAPs. Some of them even completely change the look of the game.
Otherwise the game is free-to-play.
The game scooped a number of ‘Best of 2014′ awards from consumer sites.
