Free-to-play Paragon getting $60 physical PS4 edition

Epic’s upcoming F2P outing Paragon is to receive a very un-free boxed release on PS4.

A $59.99 Paragon Edition has been announced for North America for June 7th. For the money gamers get a host of in-game items and perks including 6,000 Paragon Coins (worth $60), some additional challenges, permanent XP boosts, extra skins and taunts and three boosts.

There’s also another 1,000 Paragon Coins on offer for those who pre-order.

Epic reckons that represents around $160 worth of stuff, should you otherwise choose to buy it all in-game.

The title will eventually be free-to-play when it properly rolls out.

However, earlier access can be had for those who lay down money on the game right now. Three separate SKUs are already available – the Founder’s Pack ($19.99), the Challenger Founder’s Pack ($59.99) and the Master Founder’s Pack ($99.99).

That’s an awful lot of ways to spend money on a free game due out in the summer.
