Now Bugbear’s Next Car Game hits Steam Early Access

Ready to lay down another few quid on an in-development title?

Bugbear’s Next Car Game is the latest title to join the likes of DayZ, Rust, Starbound, 7 Days To Die, Project Zomboid, Wasteland 2, Nether and Prison Architect in releasing on Steam’s Early Access service.

For 18.99 buyers get two playable cars and three tracks. For 26.99 an extra car and some assorted digital extras are also thrown in.

Note that Next Car Game previously tried its hard at crowdfunding but only raised $80k of its $350k target before Bugbear pulled the plug.

Warning: Early access phase is meant to give you a chance to experience the game as it progresses through its development cycle, and the game is still at an early stage,” the studio wrote.

As such, it does contain missing features and nasty bugs. Developing the game together with the players gives us a lot more creative freedom, and you get to communicate with the development team to make sure we’re making the all-out racing game that you want.”
