Nvidia’s GTX Titan Black looking to claim back graphics power crown

Having been surpassed by the Radeon R9 290X and GTX 780Ti, the Nvidia Titan is staging a big comeback.

The new GTX Titan Black, like its predecessor, packs 6GB of onboard memory running at 7GHz with a peak frequency of 980 MHz and the full GK 110 die complete with 2,880 shaders and 240 texture-units.

All of which represents something along the lines of a 15-20 per cent gaming performance gain over the original Titan, meaning it’s likely to bench higher than the 780Ti

The card is now available for around 770-790 in the UK.
