Valve doubles number of approved titles to 21 due to large number of 'high quality' submissions

Second batch of games pass through Steam Greenlight

The second wave of games have made their way through Steam Greenlight after being approved by the community.

Whilst only ten games were initially scheduled to pass through the user voting service, more than 21 titles have been greenlit.

Valve said that given the number of high quality titles submitted and the planned ship date for top-ranking titles, it had decided to more than double the number of approved games.

The successful games will be released at various times over the next few months whilst development on some titles nears completion.

The first ten games to pass through Steam Greenlight were approved early last month, including titles such as Black Mesa, Cry of Fear, Project Zomboid and No More Room in Hell.
