The Sims 4 gets autumn 2014 release date

EA has said that The Sims 4 will now be released on PC in autumn 2014.

The publisher has already made a point of stressing in no uncertain terms that its single play portions will be playable entirely offline – a decision no doubt resulting from the publisher’s tricky experiences with SimCity earlier this year.

Gamers who pre-order The Sims 4 will receive the Limited Edition which includes The Sims 4 Life of the Party Digital content.

"The Sims franchise has the best fans in the world and their passion and enthusiasm is at an all-time high," The Sims Studio VP and GM Rachel Franklin stated. "Those millions of voices will fuel our development process, helping The Sims 4 to be the most ambitious and the best game our studio has ever made."

Players can see their full track record, measure their value, and monetize the skill, influence, and assets they’ve built over time. The platform launched after a Telegram MVP that reached more than 900,000 users and tracked nearly $15 million in gaming assets.
