The Steam Summer Getaway Sale is live

It’s that time of year when PC gamers unite to buy cheap games, and then moan about having bought too many cheap games.

The Steam Summer Sale is live.

It’s set to run from July 11th – 22nd and there are plenty of deals on games right now. But that’s only if you can make it onto the store, which is experiencing outages due to overpopulation.

Luckily, we’ve got a list of some of the games on offer right now with discounts of up to 75 per cent.

BioShock Infinite, GRID 2, Tomb Raider, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dishonored, Fary Cry 3, Hotline Miami, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands 2, Defiance, Antichamber, Dragon Age Origins.

Flash sales return too, allowing users to vote for what games they want to see discounted next.

But if the deals aren’t enough, Valve has also launched its Steam Trading Cards in conjunction with the sale.

The collectable cards themselves rewards users with bonuses and increase their Steam level. Oh, and they’re quite pretty too.

There are 50 to collect and they’re obtainable through a variety of ways.

Gamers can get their hands on them by buying discounted games, voting in the sale’s Community Choice, crafting game badges or trading them through Steam’s Community market.
