VIDEO: Early Access release of Killing Floor 2 arrives on Steam

FPS survival sequel Killing Floor 2 is now available in Early Access on Steam, developer Tripwire has announced.

The current pre-release version of the six-player co-op game is being offered in standard ($29.99) and digital deluxe ($39.99) packages, with the Steam page also offering a six pack for $149.95 and a $10 digital deluxe upgrade – giving standard edition buyers the option should they change their mind.

The digital deluxe edition adds a new character, extra cosmetic items, the soundtrack, and a digital artbook. The upgrade also provides a copy of Killing Floor 1– a game that’s accumulated more than 3m sales since its full commercial launch in 2009, after originally starting out as an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod back in 2005.

The studio is aiming to get the full release of Killing Floor 2 launched by the end of 2015, with the game penciled in for a PlayStation 4 launch later this year as well.
