Vita gem OlliOlli lands on Steam next week

Critically acclaimed skateboarding game OlliOlli will launch July 22nd on Steam, publisher Devolver Digital has announced.

It was reported back in February that UK developer Roll7’s 2D title made a strong enough impression with its initial PS Vita launch to warrant experimenting with other platforms, starting with PC. It’s in the works for PS3 and PS4 as well.

According to the team, the game has been lovingly handcrafted for the PC platform boasting four game modes, sweet rewards, scientifically measured precision fingering for the ultimate board control and more.”

The Steam edition will run $12.99/9.99 and is compatible with Windows PC, Mac and Linux operating systems. Roll7 has apparently partnered with indie publisher/distributor Devolver Digital for at least the upcoming release, with General Arcade taking on the port’s development.

The platform launched after a Telegram MVP that reached more than 900,000 users and tracked nearly $15 million in gaming assets.
