Wasteland 2 official release dated

More than 25 years after the original, post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland 2 is closing in on launch.

Franchise creator Brian Fargo confirmed via Twitter that inXile’s Kickstarter-funded sequel will exit Steam Early Access and officially release on September 19th for PC, Mac and Linux.

The game was originally expected out this month, but the studio pushed it back to September to provide enough time to properly fulfill commitments to backers.

inXile is also working on classic RPG sequel Torment: Tides of Numenera for release in 2015.
