Pellett named new editor for PlayStation: The Official Magazine

GameMaster editor Matthew Pellett has been named editor of PlayStation: The Official Magazine.

Pellett joined the team in 2007 as staff writer on Xbox World 360, he moved over to GamesMaster in October 2011 and worked his way into the editor’s chair.

His replacement on GamesMaster will be announced ‘in due course’, according to magazine publisher Future.

Pellett said: "It’s an honour to become part of PlayStation: The Official Magazine’s family. I’m delighted to join a hugely talented team, and with Sony’s PlayStation 4 deservedly enjoying unprecedented launch window success there has never been a more exciting time than now to work on one of our industry’s best-loved brands."

Lee Nutter, Head of Games for Future, says: With the launch of the PS4 last year, this is an extremely exciting time for PlayStation: The Official Magazine. Matthew inherits a brand in rude health and his knowledge and passion make him the ideal candidate to drive the brand forwards.”
