PlayStation Plus discounted

PS3 owners have been given an extra incentive to sign up to PlayStation Plus, the premium version of Sony’s online gaming network.

Subscribers who sign up to the 39.99 a year service between now and May 3rd will receive 15 months membership instead of 12 months.

Existing members won’t miss out, wither, with any users who renew their membership in the timeframe will also get three months added for free.

This month’s PSN+ offerings include a free copy of new multiplayer offering Red Faction: Battlegrounds.
