PSM3 gets redesign, promises ‘smarter Playstation gaming’

PSM3 Magazine Australia&NZ is undergoing a design change which Future Publishing promises will have active QR codes linking to digital content.

PSM3 has been running for two years with Australian / New Zealand specific content. Its first redesigned issue featuring a Battlefield 3 cover lands early next month, and has a covermounted dual-layer HD DVD, 64 page mini-book and increased pagination.

Shaun Prescott, PSM3 editor, says: "The refreshed layouts better reflect our focus on longform, in-depth feature writing and we’ll give the best advice on new and forthcoming PS3 titles."

The new look coincides with a full implementation of QR codes throughout the magazine, which will see readers able to scan codes to link to relevant digital content.

Jason Lyon, creative director, says: "We’ve worked hard to make the look and feel relevant to the local market, and certainly the new sections feel really contemporary, and are designed with both audience and advertisers in mind."

The first redesigned PSM3 issue hits newsstands on 5th August.
