Developers in the West Midlands can once again apply for grants of up to £25,000 from Creative England’s GamesLab program.
The funding is targeted at developers creating commercial games for console, desktop or mobile platforms. As well as receiving investment, successful applicants will get business support.
The deadline for applications is June 29th. Both established and emerging game developers can apply.
"We expedited the second round of our GamesLab fund in the West Midlands because there’s still so much talent in the region that we want to capture and support,” said Creative England’s head of games Jaspal Sohal.
"The heart of Creative England and GamesLab is all about seeing ideas come to life and businesses grow. We have worked with many established and fresh games developers to help them reach their commercial and creative potential, committing over £500,000 so far to the flourishing games industry outside of London."
