A4T signs Plants vs Zombies deal

UK peripherals specialist Accessories4Technology has won the licensing rights to create products based on the Plants vs Zombies series.

The PopCap-developed tower defence game has been released across almost every format in the last few years, and has been downloaded over 120m times worldwide.

A4T is releasing a range of tablet and smartphone accessories, speakers, headphones and products for traditional consoles and handhelds that feature the characters from the series.

The agreement is one of many between Bulldog Licensing and various companies that have made Plants vs Zombies toys, apparel, posters and more available to retail.

Plants vs Zombies is popular amongst gamers, so this is a fantastic deal,” said Bulldog MD Rob Corney. It is further evidence of just how much potential this property has.”

A sequel to Plants vs Zombies is due later this year.
