Amazon Game Studios hires Craig Sullivan from EA as Creative Director

Amazon Game Studios have announced the recruitment of Craig Sullivan to their studios in Irvine, Orange County.

Sullivan joins the company as creative director, having previously been creative leader at Ghost Games EA in Gothenburg, Sweden. With over twenty years experience, and multiple titles under his belt, Sullivan has been working for the past three and a half years for Ghost Games on the Need for Speed franchise and also worked with Criterion Games in Guildford.

"I couldn’t be more excited to join the super talented team at Amazon Game Studios, Sullivan said in a statement. "It has been obvious that Amazon is serious about making cutting-edge, innovative experiences for players around the world. Twitch, AWS, and Lumberyard are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the tools we have as creators at Amazon, and I can’t wait to share our vision with players.”

Speaking in an exclusive Q&A with Develop, Sullivan also said, "the prospect of building something new and huge with Amazon Game Studios is a challenge and adventure I just couldn’t pass up on." You can read more from this exclusive Q&A by clicking this link.
