Ubisoft has announced a surprise addition for those who fork out for Assassin Creed: Unity’s season pass.
Included will be a side-scrolling 2D games called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China which will take the series to Asia for the first time ever. It’s developed by Climax Studios and has visuals inspired by traditional brush paintings.
It also stars a female protagonist, which may or may not go some way to appeasing the publisher’s critics.
The season pass includes other content, of course, such as a new campaign for Unity called Dead Kings that includes four missions and takes place after the events of the main game. Also included are some new weapons, more customisation options and a new co-op mission.
The content is expected to arrive some time in early 2015.
