Catharina Mallet ‘quits EA Playfish’

EA Playfish producer Catharina Mallet has quit the London studio after two years to take on a new job, according to a report.

Sources “close to the company” told Business Insider that the female industry professional had a new job lined up, but did not state where she would be headed.

Mallet was brought into the studio, which EA acquired for $400 million, to head up production on a “triple-A” social title, details of which have yet to be revealed.
