Crysis 3 multiplayer beta begins 29th January

Crytek has announced that on open multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 will be available across all platforms starting 29th January.

The beta will include two of the game’s 12 modes. While Crash Site is a variation of capture and hold, the heavily publicised Hunter mode sees two cloaked players stalk and hunt down ten (14 on PC) other players armed only with enhanced Nanosuits and Predator bows.

The beta will feature two of the sandbox shooter’s 12 maps – Airport and Museum, set in the lush, urban environs of New York City.

The Crysis 3 beta will end on 12th February, and the full game is set for release on 22nd February for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

For those looking forward to Crysis 3 on PC, developer Crytek recently revealed the system requirements for the CryEngine 3 powered shooter.
