CryEngine outfit on board as platinum partner, as early bird discount deadline nears

Crytek joins forces with 2012 Develop Awards

Game developer and technology company Crytek has put its weight behind the Develop Industry Excellence Awards as a Platinum Partner.

The only peer-voted awards for the UK and European games industry, the Develop Awards are this year taking place on July 11th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton.

“We’re delighted to show our support for the 2012 Develop Awards," said Nick Button-Brown, general manager for games at Crytek. "By recognising the work of the best developers of all sizes, the awards encourage creativity, innovation and independent spirit – traits that are very close to our hearts.”

Crytek is equally famous for its Crysis games and next-gen-ready CryEngine development platform. A continually expanding organisation, Crytek in 2009 set up its first UK studio in Nottingham.

The finalists for the Develop Awards were confirmed just last week.
