Cut the Rope sells 2m on App Store

Chillingo, the iPhone game publisher that EA acquired this month, has sold over 2m copies of Cut The Rope in just three weeks.

"Our new partnership with EA enables us to expand [the game’s] prospects, visibility and reach to make more of an impact than ever before,” said Chillingo general manager Chris Byatte.

Cut the Rope remains the fastest selling title on the App Store to date, says EA, having hit 1m sales within 10 days.
