David Hayter to star in fan-made VR Metal Gear museum

A group of fans are working on a VR museum dedicated to Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series, and even has the backing of Solid Snake himself.

The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid will enable players to explore a recreation of the iconic Shadow Moses setting for the 1998 title, decorated with artwork and other virtual exhibits from throughout the series. The project started life as a fan remake of the original PlayStation title, but this was shut down after legal pressure from Konami, according toEurogamer.

Notably, the team behind The Fan Legacy have revealed David Hayter, the original voice of Solid Snake, is also on-board. It will be the first time Hayter has voiced Snake since 2010’s Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Hayter recently shared his disappointment in how he was replaced by 24 star Kiefer Sutherland for Metal Gear Solid V titles.
