For any readers who might know know, tell us a little more about your company and its goal.

MoGi is a multilingual video game services company. We have offices throughout Europe and work in over 40 different languages.

As well as a comprehensive range of tailored localization services, we also offer multilingual community management and player support solutions.

Furthermore, we also provide voice-over recordings using some of the best talents in the industry, testing services to put games through their paces in terms of, compatibility, gameplay and localization, and consultancy and advisory services regarding video game age rating.

Our core values are:

Quality – Our talented native translators and dedicated player support teams combine years of experience with linguistic talents and an unbridled passion for gaming, enabling us to provide unique insights and the highest standards of service. Over the years we have developed a unique localization process that has been a major contributor to our continued growth and success.

Flexibility – The game development path is never faultlessly smooth. We understand that demands, needs and deadlines can suddenly change, and have the expertise and determination to adapt to this and provide our own ‘outside the box’ solutions where necessary.

Communication – Each project is allocated a dedicated project manager to ensure smooth running and constant communication.

Proactive – Our experienced game localization teams, community managers and games testers have a wealth of knowledge to tap into for the best ideas and suggestions. Of course, the client’s decision is final, but we strive to be an active partner.

Our goal is simple: to provide our clients, and their players, with the best gaming services – whatever they may be – they have ever had and to forge long lasting partnerships.

What’s unique about your firm?

We exclusively use native speakers who are both experienced, talented linguists and passionate gamers to ensure the highest possible standards and enable us to be an active partner for our clients.

Our localization teams have an in-depth knowledge of gaming localization and years of experience with the latest CAT tools, enabling us to provide the best localization within tight timeframes.

Similarly, the knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, gaming possessed by our player support teams, as well as a comprehensive understanding of tools such as Zendesk, means we are able to provide a level of player support that keeps both clients and players happy.

All of our services are fully flexible. We offer tailored localization solutions for projects of any size, as well as ongoing collaborations to cover future updates, new releases, marketing etc. Our player support services can be scaled up or down according to the client’s needs as projects progress.

Each project is also allocated a dedicated project manager to ensure smooth running of projects, constant communication with the client and consistent methods of working. We also believe that we offer the best value-for-money services around.

What excites you about the games industry and games development today?

On the one hand, the constant boundary-pushing and limit-testing of the big companies is very exciting, as demonstrated by the advent of VR gaming. The potential for an even more immersive gaming experience through the use of VR is incredibly exciting for the industry.

On the other, the thing that excites everyone at MoGi the most is the sheer volume of options available to gamers today. There is a huge amount of small, independent studios producing amazing games and utilizing their skills in incredibly imaginative and innovative ways. Quite simply, there has never been a better time to be a gamer.

Most importantly, as gamers ourselves being involved in products that we have played and been fans of since childhood is a real dream come true for us. The aspect that gets us most excited is being able to contribute and help develop an industry we all love so much and have had such a strong connection with since childhood.

What do you think the line-up of this year’s Develop Awards finalists says about the industry today?

We believe the number of companies on the final shortlists shows the diversity and never-ending growth of the gaming industry. So many great companies are out there making amazing games, pushing boundaries and testing the limits of what gaming can do.

It also shows just how much work, from how many areas, goes into conceptualizing, developing and publishing a game. Collaboration is essential for our industry to keep producing games that are loved the world over.

Do you have a message for the finalists?

Congratulations, each one of the finalists is fully deserving of their place. We wish you the best of luck and here’s to a great night.

Anything else you’d like to add?

Gathering so many great names under one roof always marks the Develop Awards out as one of the best nights of the year. We are delighted and honoured to be a sponsor this year and can’t wait to come to Brighton – our English staff say it’s a great city for a night out.
