Free-to-play title arrives in beta form this August

E3 2015: Indie PC dev Motiga debuts Gigantic for Xbox One and Windows 10

Gigantic, a new cross-platform action title for Xbox One and Windows 10, has debuted at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Developed by new studio Motiga, a US-based indie developer of PC titles, the title shows a range of heroes fighting fantastical beasts in a vibrant, cartoony environment.

The game will be free-to-play and can be played across both Xbox One and Windows 10.

A beta will go live in August 2015, with a full release to follow some time later.

Gigantic kicked off a segment exploring the latest wave of indie and ID@Xbox titles in development for the Xbox One.

It is the latest example of Microsoft’s strategy to bring Windows 10 and Xbox closer together as platforms.
