EA grows brand licensing team

Electronic Arts has named Stephen Wanigesekera as senior brand licensing managerfor Europe.

Wanigesekera previously worked on EA’s corporate sales team in Switzerland. He officially started this role back in February but relocated to the publisher’s Guildford office this month.

As well as developing EA’s licensing operations,he will represent the publisher at next month’s Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have Stephen come on board,” said Patrick O’Brien, vice president of EA Entertainment.

He will bring his wealth of industry experience to really drive forward our brand licensing efforts in the European markets.”
